Hi, my name is Hongjik, but in America I also go by Rex. I am an international student from Korea, and I also am transferring from Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill. I’m a history major with intended GWS minor or Polisci double major. I’m most interested in US-East Asian relation history. I look forward to this class, and nice meeting you all.

Hi Rex – nice to meet you! I’m particularly interested in your topic because of my Korean heritage. I’m taking a US immigration course and considering focusing my big paper on Early Korean immigration to the states, especially during the first half of the 20th century – and where they were settled, and maybe reactions during World War II.
I’m looking forward to hearing about your progress this semester :)
